Announcement: Operation Slick Phantom is tomorrow!

Operation Slick Phantom

The Communist Party of Sahrani, here-by referred to as the CPS, has taken control of the Northern-Sahrani sector. Through a series of swift military victories, the CPS swept through the Southern-Sahrani sector and seized control of the entire island. We have heard reports of a dictatorial government being placed, and the Delta boys have unearthed some serious war crimes. At the request of the American ambassador in Paraiso, the 48th Airborne is being sent in to rectify the situation by re-taking control of the island of Sahrani.

The first leg of our campaign will be to gain a foot-hold on the CPS-controlled island of Rahmadi. We will take control of the runway and the nearby town to use as a stepping-off point for the main assault on the island.

First Squad will be organized into two fireteams of five soldiers each. We will be jumping out of our Blackhawk helicopter at approximately 0:00 hours over the island's runway. We will neutralize any initial resistance and then move into the town proper. Once we have the village secured, we will regroup at a designated RV point for debriefing. Further information will be provided prior to the start of the mission.



This Operation, code-named Operation Slick Phantom, is scheduled to begin August 4th, 2012, at 3:00pm PST and 6:00pm EST. We'll need all the help we can, so try to make room to get online during that time. The Operation itself isn't expected to be terribly long, maybe half an hour's worth of combat. I hope to see everyone come out and play.
